Mr. Grimm's Special Drink
2003-11-29, at 10:14 p.m.
The Grimm One is a little drunk right now...sorry for the inconvenience, please adjust your television settings.
I'm drinking my 'special' drink. Those of you who have read Stephen King's "Roadwork" will recognize the concept of a 'special drink'.
Southern Comfort and Pepsi.

Even Annie thinks my 'special drink' is Southern Comfort and Mountain Dew.
No matter. It's all good. Besides, Annie bitches at me whenever I get drunk. As a matter of fact, I like getting a little drunk. Just a little. And as a matter of fact, Annie likes disliking anything I like. As long as I like it a lot.
But it's all good.
I love her. I would endure hot irons for her.
But I get a little miffed when people gripe at me about drinking.
Drinking is the one thing that makes it all go away. The pain of my many injuries; the pain of a failed life so far (before Annie, I mean), the pain of feeling so insignifigant. And the pain of an insomniac, who can (contrary to popular belief) get to sleep by drinking.
Yes, I am a torn-up old warrior. I just wish I didn't have to fight any more. But it seems like my whole life is going to be a fight.
And I hate that.
Is anyone going to hold it against me, if I commit seppuku at an early age? (10 points for you, if you can tell me what 'seppuku' means!)
